Slow Flow Yoga

This class is designed to incorporate restorative poses amidst a gentle vinyasa flow. All abilities are welcome. Pranayama, chakra visualization and somatic inquiry allow those who choose this series to engage in a yoga practice designed for each student to inhabit their own practice.

  • Wednesday Mornings 9:30 - 10:45am

  • Wednesday Mornings 11:15 - 12:30pm

  • Friday Afternoons 4:00 - 5:15pm

Cost: $90 for Series of 6, $18 for individual classes. If finances present a barrier, please let us know. We welcome such inquiries.

Classes are small, with attention to creating a healing space as well as offering individual instructions within the group. Moriah also works with individual students or small groups. Located in Brunswick, Maine and online. Inquire for more information.

  • Yin

    Yin Yoga is a floor based practice reaching deep layers of fascial tissue, as long holds in various asanas take place. We invite students to pay attention to how a specific shape feels in their own bodies. In a class, everyone’s shape may be completely unique, even as we target the same tissues. Bolsters, pillows, and blankets are used to offer support and deep relaxation is often the result of this stream of yoga.

  • Meditation

    Those wishing to know their own internal landscape more deeply are invited to practice meditation in a simple guided awareness practice that focuses on breath, imagery, and relaxation. Finding a comfortable position, whether it be seated or lying down, one is invited into holding inner presence in order to create space for present moment awareness.

  • Online Classes

    Online Classes are available for those who are unable to attend live classes. During Covid lockdowns, all in person classes are offered online. These classes provide the opportunity to remain connected and practice alongside our community while remaining in the comfort and safety of your own home.
